To Mr. James Ottis

To Mr. James Ottis,

I am feeling grateful, for your concern over Gandhi's memorabilia.

FYI: No one is using those memorabilia for political gains. The voter of India does know the importance of those goods and would not spare the politicians who would do so. This is also known to the politicians.

The day you decided to auction them for money to anyone is the day when you have decided to hurt Gandhi's feelings. That very day Gandhiji's sentiments have been put on auction and he is not proud of it at all. You wanted to make money out of it, so how would you explain that thing. It seems like you know the rules pretty well, then why haven't you called off the auction at the right time. You waited for the time when there is no way to pull out of the auction and then made some statements to get some publicity. If you really wanted to pull out you would have taken the decision before the deadline and also you would have put it in action more than just mere public statements to the media.

Now, realizing the importance of those goods, or to gain more publicity you are whining like a kid showing some stupid causes.

Mr. Otis, I don't think I need to remind you of the fact that we Indians are divided, by religion, region, caste, sub-castes, blah .....blah.... but the day some one intrudes and tries to play with our sentiments, we are united by a single religion, caste, sub-caste namely INDIA.

Last question of mine, Could you please explain in detail if how is some one using them for political reasons? We have a constitution in place which takes care of them.

Finally thanks for your concern. May you truly understand the sentiments, ideology and the principles of Gandhiji.
